The True Eternal Self

There is a light that shines beyond all things on earth, beyond us all, beyond the heavens,
beyond the highest, the very highest heavens. This is the Light that shines in our heart.

                                                                                                                                                          ~Chandogya Upanishad

Beneath the surface-layer of our busy lives, deep within the heart and soul of each and every one of us, silently pulses the radiant Presence of the true Self.  We may live hundreds of lifetimes and never realize that this inner light perpetually glows within our physical form.  In our unknowingness, lost and adrift on the turbulent sea of forgetting, we are tossed about by strong currents we seem to have no control over -- waves of feeling, inundations of thoughts, judgments, and belief systems, torrents of traumatic memories we can do no better than to repeat endlessly, compounding our suffering.

Finally, in one lifetime or another, we come to the moment of no return -- the point in time when we realize we are unwilling to endure another day of that unrelenting barrage.  A new awareness is dimly glimpsed through the fog: This can’t be all that is possible in life. There must be more than this!

We begin to apprehend that all the while, beneath the surface tempests and trials of our lives, a calm, placid sea has been silently sustaining the seemingly-fragile little boat of our existence. We suddenly find ourselves compelled to dive deeper into that ocean of  being, and to explore how we might experience more of the peace that pervades it.

And so, one way or another, we find our way to the core of our being, and begin to drink from the drop of that limitless ocean that lives in our heart of hearts. No longer looking for solace in the cacophony of the outer world, no longer seeking wisdom in the repetitive rantings of the mind, we begin to listen deeply within, that we might hear the still, silent voice of the true Self.  No longer content to suffer, we begin to look within for the Source of all joy.

And when we are ready to awaken, it really doesn’t matter how we proceed, for all life events, all paths, practices, and transmissions ultimately and eventually lead us Home to the true Self.  Once we know that we are That, once we have tasted the indescribable peace and stillness at the core of our being, all that remains is to experience this as our true nature in more and more moments -- to embody our realization of the spark of Life that we are.

Although a spiritual path may have brought us to this moment, all paths end here. Now, we embark upon the pathless path of surrender to the true, eternal Self.  Entering the realm of the Mystery, we continually die and are reborn into deeper and vaster expressions of who and what we truly are.

At last we discover that everything we sought without was already, always present within. We finally relax in the knowing that there is nothing we do not already have, nothing we need to add, to be whole and complete.  Nor is there anything we need to fix or get rid of.  All attempts at “self-improvement” fall away as we immerse in the ocean of pure being and let it carry us into greater and greater joy, peace, and fulfillment.

Eventually we come to the end of all seeking and realize that the true, eternal Self is the answer to all fear, emptiness and suffering.  As our divinity shines forth, it ignites the spark of the Self in all we encounter.  The outer world progressively shifts to reflect that sacred essence, and we find ourselves returning to the “garden”, the “heaven on earth” that has always been present, waiting for us to find our way there.

We make our way into the Garden as we establish conscious communion with the indwelling divine Presence.  Then, all that remains is to continuously deepen in that communion -- to water the rich, fertile soil of our inner sanctum with our awareness and attention.  As we devote ourselves to this pathless path, we cultivate the “unceasing prayer” of maintaining conscious communion with the divine Presence in more and more moments.  Along the way, we offer up and surrender all sense of the separate “i” until it has fully merged with and dissolved into God/One/All That Is.  What is left is the true Self, the absolute One shining through.  God has returned to God.  From there, God continues to explore itself into eternity...

For nearly twenty years, we have been blessed to facilitate conscious experiences of and deepening in the true, eternal Self.  The all-important, life-changing experience of who and what we truly are, which forms the core of humanity’s current evolutionary imperative, is the heart of all our offerings.  Catalyzing the conscious experience of oneness with the true Self may take many forms and utilize various processes and modalities, but at the deepest level it is really a matter of sympathetic resonance.  When one tuning fork is struck, the other will begin to vibrate, even though it is across the room.  This is as true of true Selves, no matter the distance that separates them, for in the true Self, all are One.

Deepening the conscious communion with the true Self is the central feature in some of the groups and teleconferences we offer, and is the underlying consecration in all that we  bring to the world. This deepening is not catalyzed by a transmission of grace such as ilahinoor.  Instead, we share the ways we have been given to facilitate easily, naturally, and directly experiencing the unique energetic signature of the true Self.  Groups include a direct, facilitated inner experience, as well as opportunities to ask questions and share experiences verbally.

In these groups and teleconferences, our primary purpose is to come together to commune in the living reality of the true Self.  The experience of who we really are is alive, spontaneous, always new in its expression of the most fundamental truth, and infused with its primal fabric of love.   For upcoming opportunities to experience these offerings, please check our Event Calendar.

We are also creating a series of CDs to facilitate direct experiences of the living reality of the true Self. These CDs include informative talks as well as energetic transmissions/inductions that specifically focus on various dimensions of deepening the communion with the true, eternal Self.

The first CD, Conscious Soul Communion, is available from our Store.
