Ilahinoor
En-Life-enment Awaken and deepen union with the belly soul center (hara /tan tien). The Ilahinoor transmission was delivered to us from Source through the vehicle of our dear friend Kiara Windrider. In 2006 he and several friends received this energy in Turkey, and named it Ilahinoor, which means Divine Light in Turkish and Arabic. To read about Kiara’s experiences with iIahinoor, see his website, kiarawindrider.net/ilahinoor. The word ilahinoor is composed of two root syllables: ilah, which refers to the Divine, and noor, which means light. To pronounce ilahinoor, divide it into four syllables as follows: EE LAH HEE NOOR This is an extremely sacred word in the Islamic tradition. Feel the magnificence and grandeur of the word and its meaning as you say it aloud. Know that giving voice to the word literally calls in the Light of the Divine. Ilahinoor might also be called the Divine Light of the Goddess, for the nature of this energy is often experienced as deeply feminine -- soft and gentle, yet pervasive and powerful. The Divine Light of Ilahinoor seems to want to be deeply and thoroughly embodied. As we become aware that we are that light, we perceive our very cells lighting up with the radiance of the One. When the Ilahinoor energies and consciousness land and integrate within us, they can catalyze a deeply embodied experience of unity. The Ilahinoor transmission can bring us in touch with the realm of deep, dark light that rises up from below to enfold and embrace the descending white light. This dark light might be thought of as the luminescence within form itself. As the dark light and the white light unify within us, the clear light of consciousness shines forth. Awakening occurs when the ida and pingala nadis, which carry dark and white light respectively, come into balance. This allows the central channel or shushumna nadi to open, and the kundalini to rise. White light alone is only half of the equation; without the dark light, awakening cannot be complete. While Ilahinoor affects all the chakras and soul centers, it primarily focuses in the belly soul center. Deep within the belly, just below the navel, lies the soul center known variously in different traditions as the hara or tan tien, the womb or egg, abode of divine mother or shakti, and the seat of the feminine or mother aspect of God. In men and women alike, Ilahinoor is often experienced most strongly from the heart down, helping us to embrace whatever the lower chakras are holding that has not yet been loved and included in our totality. As it descends to our very depths, Ilahinoor supports the process of sinking into the dark light of the divine feminine -- the endlessly-flowing fountain of Life, which nurtures and supports all living beings. As this aspect of Self awakens, our very bodies are seen as sacred, fully divine, no less God than the transcendental realms of spirit. The perception of the matter worlds as maya or illusion is dissolved in the full opening of the hara center. One’s body is seen as a manifestation of Self, and all forms, all bodies, are perceived as part of the Self -- I AM One with the sacred womb of the Mother, birthing and holding all life in all the universes. The image of the Egyptian Goddess Nut bending over the cosmos, enfolding it all in her vastness, illustrates this level of realization of Self. Ammachi, the hugging Saint/Avatar from southern India, expresses this profoundly: All she wants to do is embrace her children. Ilahinoor awakens the realization of embodied divinity, a Oneness with all of Life. This is the unified consciousness of life itself, the innate, omniscient, omnipresent presence that pervades all of creation. The prime purpose of this intelligence is to further life, to see all of creation flourish and become more abundant. We see this at work everywhere, within and without. Walking through a forest, we witness the symbiosis of the plants and animals that live there. As a bee gathers pollen for its hive, it pollinates the plants it visits, allowing them to flower, bear fruit and reproduce. The innate intelligence that causes migratory birds to know when to fly south for the winter is accompanied by an unerring guidance system that leads them to their destination. The hunger that lets you know it is time to eat, the instant reaction that causes you to flee in the face of danger, to cuddle and stroke a frightened baby, to sleep when the body needs rest -- all are manifestations of the intelligence of Life. We are born with this inner knowing at the core of our embodied being, our natural soul. Our communion with it is damaged and diminished as we experience emotional and psychological traumas in childhood. As we come to judge, deny and separate from aspects of the psyche, and thus lose touch with the innate intelligence of life, addictions and other life-destroying behaviors arise. For the psyche to be healed and made whole, the wounded aspects must be recovered and brought back into conscious union with the soul. HOW PEOPLE EXPERIENCE ILAHINOOR Ilahinoor is most often experienced as a soothing, nurturing energy, easily assimilable by virtually everyone. This soft, descending energy is often experienced as gentle waves moving through various parts of the body, down into the abdomen, pelvis, and, sometimes, the legs and feet. It brings a deep sense of relaxation, a peace within the body that makes one feel comfortable and at home there. Because it is usually experienced as nurturing and comforting, many people find this is a wonderful Transmission of Grace to receive first. Who among us could not use an infusion of deep peace, gentle comfort, and healing nurturance? Ilahinoor assists those with active, stressed-filled, and ungrounded lives to drop back into the body and reconnect with the natural rhythms and intelligence of Life. It is a particularly helpful transmissions for those who spend a great deal of time in the mental realms. Underlying all dis-ease are separation and the fragmentation that results from losing awareness of our oneness with All That Is. Since ilahinoor works to unify all the life intelligence in the body, it can help various split-off aspects of the psyche to be reunited with the soul, which is the underlying dynamic that promotes all healing. Many who have received the ilahinoor transmission report healings on all levels -- mental, emotional and physical -- some relatively minor, and others bordering on miraculous. Of course, no one can know what, if any, healing will occur after an ilahinoor transmission, and it is important to remember that ilahinoor doesn’t do the healing or create the results. Through grace, it assists in restoring awareness of the preexisting wholeness and integrity that have been obscured in consciousness. Although healing can occur, no one knows what the soul of each person is to experience as part of the divine plan for their unfoldment. Ilahinoor can be considered a foundational energy for the awakening process, as it assists in healing and making whole our human psyche and soul. Without this foundation, even the most exalted spiritual energies will have no place to land and be expressed, just as it is futile to build an ornate palace on a rickety, unstable foundation. In fact, as the higher energies pour in, they tend to amplify any distortions in the psyche, which can exacerbate their symptoms and manifestations. If, as we climb the spiritual path, we continually focus on the purification, healing and wholing of our humanness, we are far more likely to experience our divinity as fully embodied and eminently livable, active and effective in the world. A life of joy and happiness and fulfillment is more apt to take root and flower when we have provided the tender plant of our beingness with plenty of rich, moist compost, in addition to light and water and fresh air. Disconnection with the innate intelligence of our human soul results in the ubiquitous dis-eases of our times. Addictions, for example, are a sign that we have lost touch with what truly nourishes us, as is our attraction to eating and drinking things that harm the body. Overuse of stimulants such as sugar and caffeine, too, reflect a basic disconnection from our belly wisdom, as do emotional issues including fear of intimacy and codependency. Ilahinoor is particularly helpful for those who feel lost and disconnected from their human self. If pressing issues involving relationships, home, family, and money are present, the lower chakras and belly soul center are probably in need of greater awareness. When people accumulate an excess of un-integrated higher energies -- for instance, from receiving a lot of deekshas in a short time -- they are often flooded with an immediate sense of relief as the ilahinoor transmission helps the higher energies to descend. As the lower chakras are bathed in the high light, and consciousness openings and awakenings can be integrated and embodied, the subtle body and chakra systems can come back into balance. An overcharge in the upper chakras may impart transcendent bliss and a sense of rising above the difficult feelings and issues of the world. But this is almost always a temporary state, which will be followed by an equally strong descent; as Taoists understand, life continuously moves to the opposite polarity to seek balance. Staying connected to the hara center and the lower chakras and experiencing Ilahinoor on a regular basis will help in avoiding this “crash”, which can prove extremely difficult. There are two principle reasons why we suggest that most people receive Ilahinoor as their first Transmission of Grace. First, our experience is that, in most people, the belly soul center is the least developed. When the upper chakras and head soul centers are activated first, there is a tendency for this imbalance to increase. Second, beginning with Ilahinoor supports an organic unfoldment process that starts from the ground up, just as a plant grows. Ilahinoor seems to provide a sturdy foundation for the openings in conscious that will follow as the higher centers are activated. We recommend devoting one to two months to integrating the energies of Ilahinoor prior to receiving other transmissions. This not only promotes a feeling of relaxing into the depth of our being, it also increases awareness of this most nurturing, life-supportive dimension of existence. Ilahinoor may bring to the surface emotions and memories that have not yet been fully felt and faced. It shines attention on the belly center, and whatever has been held there that is now ready to be seen, felt, and accepted more deeply. If such material arises, know that this is an integral aspect of awakening. You can invite the breath into the belly, and feel it penetrating right into the core of the sensation or feeling. As you fully feel it, remember to just as fully release it on the outbreath. Turn it over ot the One who knows how best to bring it all into healing and wholeness. Rest in the arms of Divine Mother as She comforts you through the emotional storm. Feel Her sustaining love and caring enfolding you. Listen as She whispers the messages She alone can give you. To learn more about what Ilahinoor evokes in people, visit the Experiences of Ilahinoor page. There is a powerful synergistic effect when all three transmissions have been received and integrated over time, that is far greater than the effects of each individually. When all three soul centers are awakened a more complete unfoldment occurs which includes a unity of mind, a realization of universal love and one's divine nature, and a healing and wholing of the human psyche. Together, these initiate the birthing of the luminous Self. For a direct window in to the combined effects, please read Experiences of Synergy. Ilahinoor is shared during in-person groups and through private phone sessions. If you would like to receive this transmission you may do so directly by phone, Contact Us for details. You can also sign up for our mailing list to be informed of all of our events. We have found that following some basic guidelines for giving the transmissions will further an optimal experience for everyone. When acting in the role of an agent of any transformational energy, it's helpful to be aware of certain issues and responsibilities. We have attempted to outline the considerations that we have found to be most important for everyone involved. Please read Transmission Guidelines thoroughly before giving ilahinoor to others. Here you will find instructions on how we actually give the transmissions, including specific hand placements and their sequence. After experiencing an ilahinoor teleconference, Mary Angelico brought forth a beautiful piece of music that conveys the essence of ilahinoor. We added a track with the ilahinoor transmission. The resulting 70-minute CD is available in our store. This CD will activate the ilahinoor energy, stimulate healing on all levels, and provide a soothing, comforting audio atmosphere for bodywork, inner journeys, and relaxation.
