We all experience the sharp jolt of hearing about some shocking event or circumstance via email, Facebook, or TV.  Who among us hasn't responded in a way that is less than peaceful and centered? These moments are crucial in our spiritual journey, especially at this critical time when the planet is in the crisis of rebirthing into a higher state of consciousness. 
     There are essentially two places we can respond from:  ego or soul.  Where our response comes from has an immense effect, not only on our own awakening and state of being, but on that of all humanity and the planet.

Most importantly, they provide practical information on how to turn any painful, jarring response to what's going on around the planet into an opportunity to not only further awaken, but also to serve as an agent of grace in the larger planetary awakening.  ​

Here's another potent article written by Kiara Windrider on the Universal Christing Process in which he synthesizes his experiences with the teachings of the great Indian Sage Sri Aurobindo.

Sri Aurobindo before his death spoke about the manifestation of the supramental consciousness on earth. He said it would take about 300 years until this force would be incarnated into the body of the earth, releasing in the process a great resistance held within the cells of our own bodies. This resistance, or maya, has held us trapped in a powerful matrix of duality where we have separated mind from heart, spirit from body, human from divine, and lost ourselves in a cycle of insecurity, violence, despair and fear.

He succeeded in bringing the supramental force into his own body to a certain extent, and transferred this force to the Mother upon his own passing in 1950. He then continued his work from another plane and the supramental descent took place on 29 February 1956. Mother announced that the pathway was open so that this unifying force could now incarnate like a seed within the collective consciousness of humanity.

We are not talking merely about a spiritual awakening for humanity but a species transformation. It is a biological shift in the morphogenetic fields of our cellular DNA that defines the next human species, moving us inevitably to a stage of human evolution much more different from our current species than all the evolutionary stages that preceded us.

                                                     SUPRAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION

Sri Aurobindo speaks about three kinds of transformation: psychic, spiritual and supramental. Psychic transformation has to do with gaining an acquaintance with what he calls the ‘psychic being’, the inner spark of intelligence we each carry within our deep heart that guides our way through life. As we begin to listen to this voice within the heart we slowly get weaned away from the uncontrollable fire of our passions and enter into the silence of our inner being. It reflects as a presence that shines through our eyes, creating a space of strength and stillness within the storms of life.

As we advance in the task of psychic transformation we then enter the path of spiritual transformation. We recognize that within the stillness of the heart rests an entire universe, and that this universe is not distinct from all that exists in the vast oceans of time and space. The personal self and the universal self merge into one distinct identity in our journey of self-realization.

For most people on the spiritual path this is the ultimate goal of consciousness. However, Sri Aurobindo refers to something beyond, a third path of transformation that can only begin once we are firmly rooted in these first two stages of awareness. This is not a journey up but a journey down, not into light but into darkness. It refers to a path of self perfection that includes the physical body and the material planes. It involves reaching deep into the physical mind, or the mind of the cells, and transforming this. It requires going deep into the Inconscient, into the densest layers of our personal and collective illusions, and illuminating them.
